Cheryl Dann, APRN, is a board certified psychiatric provider. She offers compassionate, evidence‑based, and integrative mental health care for adolescents and adults. Cheryl is known for her thoughtful, whole‑person approach that blends conventional psychiatric treatment with functional and lifestyle‑informed strategies to address the root causes of mental health symptoms.

With extensive experience as a psychiatric medication provider, Cheryl specializes in comprehensive evaluations, nuanced diagnostic formulation, and collaborative medication management. She believes that effective mental health care goes beyond symptom reduction and requires attention to biology, environment, stress, nutrition, sleep, and the nervous system.

Cheryl’s clinical approach is grounded in curiosity, partnership, and education. She takes time to understand each patient’s story and empowers individuals and families with a clear understanding of their treatment options. When appropriate, she incorporates integrative and functional psychiatry principles to support long‑term stability, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

Her areas of clinical focus include anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, ADHD across the lifespan, trauma‑related symptoms, OCD, emotional dysregulation, and sleep disturbances. Cheryl works closely with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, whole‑person care.

As the founder of Caring Minds LLC, Cheryl is committed to creating a practice that is warm, ethical, and patient‑centered—where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported in their mental health journey.

Outside of clinical work, Cheryl enjoys spending time with family, hiking, practicing martial arts, and staying active in her community. She is involved in volunteer work supporting the TEARS Foundation and initiatives that provide care packages and support for individuals experiencing homelessness. These interests reflect her belief that healing and wellbeing extend beyond the clinic and are strengthened through connection, movement, and service to others.
