ADHD in Children and Adults

ADHD is not simply about being distracted or hyperactive. It can impact emotional regulation, motivation, organization, time management, relationships, and self-esteem.

In children, ADHD may appear as difficulty sitting still, impulsivity, forgetfulness, or emotional outbursts. In adults, it often shows up as chronic overwhelm, procrastination, mental exhaustion, unfinished tasks, or difficulty balancing responsibilities.

Many individuals with ADHD are highly creative, intelligent, and capable — but may struggle silently with systems that do not fit how their brain works.

Proper evaluation and individualized treatment can make daily life feel more manageable and sustainable.
